I bought a TCL model #55S405 back in January. I know it's a budget TV and I'm not expecting it to be a high-end tv. But recently I have noticed some horizontal lines that move slowly up from the bottom to the top of the screen.
It's mostly only noticeable with gray screens.
I took a video, and converted to GIF, to demonstrate what I'm seeing.
I'm pretty sure it didn't do this from the beginning but maybe I just didn't notice. If I turn the brightness way up it lessens the problem but I don't want to keep it so bright.
Any thoughts? Is this defective and should I contact TCL?
Here is the GIF. I realize it's not the sharpest but you can still see the lines scrolling upwards.
