What settings do you mean? Yes, I am using TV-led DV, of course.Since you got the same TV as me, mind I ask you what is your TV settings? i presume you are using TV led setup witj Ugoos?
The settings inside your TV picture, like do you use tone mapping off or gradation pref? And other options, maybe something specific? What settings do you mean? Yes, I am using TV-led DV, of course.
For SDR8 + SDR10 I have set it to ''SDR''For DV, I use the Dolby Vision Dark preset, TM off, for HDR10/SDR I use Professional (with Gradation Preferred for HDR10). The TV is professionally calibrated.
Below are my DV-related settings (yes, I know L6 doesn't do anything and I set L5 to Source because a bit of subtitle overlapping the letterbox doesn't really bother me).

You're not the only one. That is the worst (I can't say best) title that demonstrate the issues. I stopped trying to fix it so I just use the DTS-MA audio from the Blu-ray on my 4K UHD version.Ah, the old audio drop outs issue... I still haven't been able to play The Martian Extended Edition without these micro drop outs.
Tried BD folder, every demuxer and remuxer, different players (all Kodi), with no luck.
Hope you guys make some progress as it might help me to put that one to bed.
Why don't you use the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio track from the 4k UHD version? You're not the only one. That is the worst (I can't say best) title that demonstrate the issues. I stopped trying to fix it so I just use the DTS-MA audio from the Blu-ray on my 4K UHD version.
Yes, that was one of the first 4K UHD discs to really show the audio drop problems with seamless branching titles with Atmos. There were a lot of others that had the same issue but most were fixed via decoder updates (LAV, and system fixes on players) and re-ripping or remixing the affected discs. Unfortunately, there were several, if not about a dozen (if not more) titles, that could NOT be fixed no matter what method you use to what updates were made to any software. Disney Atmos discs were the worst for audio drops but those were mostly fixed software updates on players and ripping/remuxing software. Why don't you use the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio track from the 4k UHD version?
or does this have the same problem as the Dolby Atmos track on that disc ?
That's very helpful reply, thanks for that. So my understanding is that, if done properly it adds value to the movie, otherwise is best to watch untouched. The creator’s intent is always the HDR master without tone mapping and dynamic metadata (DV/HDR10+) preserves that artistic intent better than static HDR10.
The only issue with hybrids is when no grade check is done to confirm that both sources come from the same master. DV is often brighter on streaming than HDR10 on disc, and if you’re not careful, mismatches can occur and you can ruin the image intended brightness.
This is how you can do a proper hybrid remux using DV metadata from web.
Thanks, thats clear. No always start fresh and dont mix from htpc and CoreElec
i think your right, Native probably plays at 60hz and makes it appear more smooth.Ugoos plays files at there native true fps , so maybe tv app dont play 23,976 fps at 23,976? i’m guessing it is 60hz.
23,976 has less fps vs 50/60 fps files so not as smooth . But playing 23,976 files at 50/60 hz makes other problem.
Just live with it 😀. Press ”O” to see status of your file in Kodi when playing the video

There are no big problems on cpm build A14.I'm getting a shocking amount of black screen signal drop outs since the latest nightly update.
Can't even reboot now without it happening and end up having to pull the power cord every time.
Wish I wouldn't have updated at all.
Is this issue resolved on the CPM builds?
