Using eac3to, how do I convert a TrueHD Atmos track to TrueHD+AC3?

I'm in the process of mixing a 3D MKV file with a Dolby Atmos track, and combining them with tsMuxer as a m2ts file.

I used MKVToolNix to extract the TrueHD/Atmos file from the 2D Blu-ray as a MKA file. The only way tsMuxer can detect Atmos is if it has an AC3 core (TrueHD+AC3).

I have the Atmos track listed in eac3to, it looks like this:

MKA, 1 audio track, 2:19:58
1: TrueHD (Atmos), English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, dialnorm: -31dB
"Surround 7.1"

How would I be able to convert it to TrueHD+AC3 or thd.ac3?

Just use audio muxer...much easier. (-31db dialogue normalization ? wow.)

From the MakeMKV forum:

1) Rip to MKV with MakeMKV
2) eac3to titlename.mkv 2: titlename.thd+ac3
Note: titlename should be replaced with the actual name of the MKV
3) Add the MKV and the thd+ac3 track to TSMuxer
4) Remux to TS or m2ts

Step 2 is the eac3to command line.
Every time I attempt this on eac3to, I keep getting this error:
"The source file doesn't contain any TrueHD/AC3 tracks."

You need to uninstall that wonky virus program....I haven't used anti virus since about 2002.

Any GUI for a command line program is good.
Was that file you posted only 3 gigs for the whole thing ? That would be the size of the TrueHD portion alone.
