Hi everyone. This is my first attempt to mod a CRT, so I was hoping someone could offer a bit of assistance. I have a Samsung TXJ2066 tv. This set shares a PCB with several other models which have s-video, but mine does not. I've found the schematics online, and managed to locate the component spots on the board. All of the wiring is in place, but the component spots are empty. I've put together an image, but AVS won't let me link it because this is my first post. It's below.
Is it possible for me to simply buy the components and solder them in place to get this to work? Or is there more to it? I appreciate any help that can be provided.
