What type of fuse does Cerwin Vega LS-12 and where can I buy them?

I'm not sure what amps of volts they use, but I'd like to purchase 4 identical ones that should work well with these speakers. Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase these, and the exact ones that I should need for this set of speakers?

Thanks

I'm lost with your question. If you already have these speakers can't you just open them up to see what kind of fuse it uses or if there even is one?

I mean if you think you need to replace the fuse you'll need to know where it is anyway, right?

Yeah, I'm not using the ones that came with it though, I'm pretty sure it uses special ones...

I was trying to find out what ones came default with the speakers so I could purchase those.

I have two pair of those speakers. IIRC, it uses a 100v, 0.75A, but I'd have to look. The speakers here have non-OE fuses and are 2.5A. The one's at my parent's house have the OE fuses wrapped in foil. If you're looking for a second pair, I'm looking to get rid of a pair of mine.

According to the manual on the Cerwin-Vega website, the CLS-12 uses a 4 A, 250 V slow-blow fuse, 6.3 mm x 32 mm (about 1/4" x 1.25"). Those are standard fuses you should be able to find most anywhere (Radio Shack or any of the online parts places).

Do get slow-blow; the standard fast-blow will give out on transients. Also, if you look at Wal-Mart or similar places make sure they are 250 V and not some much lower voltage (they sometimes mix things up from the automotive department -- don't ask how I know this).

Alright, thanks so much for the help!
