When I select Tuner on remote or with Musicast app I get radio but nothing shows on tv screen. Step 3 of instructions on page 127 of User Guide to select Tuner: I don't see "Tuner" on the Function settings screen.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Select “Function”.
3 Select “Tuner”.
4 Select “FM100/AM10”.

5 Press SETUP.

My Function screen shows:
Input Settings
DSP Skip
Trigger Output
User Interface
ECO

Initialization
Backup/Restore
Firmware Update

Any thoughts?

The text at the top of pg. 127 of the manual doesn't specify the U.S. or North America, which (to me) makes it seem like that setup function isn't required for U.S. / North American models.

You're getting radio and, presumably, the front display on the AVR is displaying the band and station you're tuned to. The manual doesn't say anything about tuner info being displayed on a TV, so it sounds (to me) as though you're looking for functionality that doesn't exist.

Yes, I see the radio station on the receiver, but if I can see internet radio and streaming audio displayed on the tv screen, I'm hoping there is a way to see the current station and available stations on the tv. I think I will try speaking or chatting with someone with Yamaha Support.

I spoke with Yamaha Support and was told that Yamaha has phased out use of the screen with Tuner. The opinion was that consumers don't have much use listening to over-the-air radio anymore, and Yamaha did not want to add to the cost of implementing screen display - even though they always had it in the past.

What a weak rationale.

I think post #4 is the reason. US models did not include RDS, ever. I don't buy the "phased out due to lack of FM interest" explanation. They threw that out because it sounds good and got you off the phone quickly. Gives them good stats.
