My receiver that is less than 2 months old has been working fine. All of a sudden, I lost sound when watching TV via the SAT/CBL HDMI input. I immediately noticed the H in the display was now an A. Eventually, I lost the video signal (FYI, my receiver outputs to a projector via HDMI cable). So I moved the HDMI cable for the Cable box to the DVD HDMI port on the receiver. Voila, TV and sound again. This lasted for a couple of days and then the same thing happened on that port. The H changed to A in the display and I no longer have audio and video. I manually selected H using the "Signal Sel" button on the remote, but it switched back to A by itself within a few seconds. Now this happened to my HDMI Game port so I plugged my game console into the BD port and it's working at the moment, but when it goes, I'm out of ports.
Anybody know if this is a known issue, an end-user error, or a defect? Any suggestions on how to fix this if not a defect?
