Hi,
Love floorspeakers. In HiFI show's in PT, I spend mnts and mnts seat listening these incredible piece of art. Altough it's more easy to advise others than choose to our own use. Currently I have a pair of front Kef Q9 L/R and I want to replace these. They are playing superb, but 20 years is a nice round number to start looking for a new pair of art. Please try to avoid European brands 'cause in my South Country apartment I have B&W and Sonus Faber. In Lisbon besides those KEF I also have KEF LS 50 Meta and 2 B&W SubW, one in each home. Electronics are: AVR Yamaha RX-A6A that feed the Q9; Integrated Amplifier Pioneer A-X340 and AVR Onkyo TX-SR 605. More common listening spot: 4 meters from Yamaha and Q9 KEF. Music: Rock, POP and Jazz.
Any tips based in your experience are more than welcome.
Thank you + Cheers

Perhaps post over in the speakers subforum if you haven't already?

Based on your post sounds like you are looking to purchase some beautiful "art" speakers. This is the DIY section where folks build thier own speakers. Some on this and other diy forums have indeed built some beautiful art, but sounds like you want ready made.

That said, stick around if you would like. I used to purchase and lust after "high performing" store bought speakers that looked good too, but have had my eyes opened that even for a fairly significant budget diy might perform better, and if you were skilled and patient you could make look good too. One member's work actually looks better than store bought IMO.

Edit: more than one member, some pretty darn cool projects out there :)
