Does anyone have any experience with this speaker company:

http://sourcespeaker.com/

From their site:

We've had many wonderful reviews from leading audio publications spanning from 1984 to 1992. The last 14 years however have been a "settling out" period where ambiguities surrounding multi-channel needed to be addressed. Single issues rather than system integration "dilute" focus. For these reasons Source Technologies has eschewed requests for product reviews. However consumer based web forums and diehard owner loyalty have provided a great deal of exposure. In 2006 there now seems to be a substantial platform for multi-channel. Look for Source Loudspeaker reviews in the near future..

It looks like they have some nice products, but I've checked a number of forums but found very little if anything. When I checked on a Florida dealer, they referred me to a dealer in Connecticut who highly recommends them.

Are there any "diehard owners" out there?

Thanks

I have not used them but The designer/builder is well known with his JSE Infinite Slope speakers and crossover technology. I have a pair of JSE model 1 towers and have owned model .8's and they are excellent sounding and are very stout. If you call you can speak to John (he is very busy but if you get him he will be more than willing to chat. hope this helps.

I live very near this company and have visited one of the stores that pretty much just carries their speakers along with all the gear such as TV's, hi-fi components etc. I too have been trying to chase down any review/ownership of their speakers.

I actually have a 5.1 surround system but it is of their lower end stuff. I am looking inot a sub woofer or two which is deffinatly in their line of expertise. The store I am familar with is called Perfect Vision And Sound from Avon, CT. Owners name is Bob. He was a speaker designer for one of the major players years ago and has big input into the design of their product line.

I am in no way affiliated with them. soursespeaker.com and perfectvisionsound.com are the two places to get some info on them. Like I said, I am in the market for a sub or two. Currently the JL f113 or f112 is in the lead. Also looking at a new plat panel or even perhaps a larger rear projection TV. Combing these fourms looking...

I recently bought an old pair of JSE Model 2 speakers that need repair. The owner of Source Loudspeaker Technology is a guy named John Solecitto. In fact, JSE stood for John Solecito Engineering.

John has been just wonderful, helping me to restore my old JSE Model 2 Speakers.

Not once has he suggested I sell my old speakers he designed, and buy what he currently makes.

Despite the fact my JSE Model 2 speakers are over 20 years old!

What a refreshing change! I owned old Vandersteens a few years ago. I called to see if there were any updates for my speakers, and I was advised to sell them, and buy new Vandersteens!
