Well it is now official, I have place my order this morning with a big difference to my original plan of buying a single TV21NEO-M from my previous post. My new TV2112T, will be ship either this coming Monday or Tuesday.

I also have to mention, that the invoice Tom send me. Was a breeze, to complete this purchase compare to some other ID companies. And also would like to thank him for all his help in this purchase, since as far Customer Service go would be a (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y) out of five.

I cannot imagine how big a 21" woofer is, and more likely will giggling like a small girl once I see it:giggle:

Wow, that was fast.

It's been already pick up today by the shipping company, and should be deliver in a vary fast manner to Canada for around Sep 23th. I better get by butt in gear to remove my previous subs from that room, so I can do a proper calibration with no other equipment's around before been sold.

Yesterday I moved the defective FV18 to the front of the table made of a movie reel to the right front of my room by using the left/right sliding method, to make space for my new TV2112T sub when it arrive on the 23th. And will move the working one near the Pop Corn machine once I get it, to do a full calibration to start enjoying it and will redo a full calibration once I sell them.

While I would have loved to move the first FV18 in the other room to be follow with the second one once I receive my new sub not to do a second calibration. Been only a one man show, at 110lbs now after loosing 60lbs over a few years. There was no way that I could pass them through the door with that sliding method them into the other room having only a couple inches clearance. And will do with this arrangement until selling them for a working one and giving away the other as spare parts for free.

As far shipping goes coming from the US and living in Canada, I am extremely please with this fast turn around. Been only eight days, from purchasing and been pickup to my dwelling in northern Canada that include all taxes/broker fees:D

International stuff is still strong. Right now we have 5 S21ipal-m(all 6000w), 6 MTM212m, 4 eV1813t, 2 eV1813m, 3 TV2112 and one S1813m.
Going to Norway, UK, Mexico, italy, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland,

Built/assembled in Ohio...maybe that's becoming a badge of goodness?..:)

Zero ad dollars spent, zero you tube influencers getting tons of freebies, zero time spent worrying about chasing any international orders and still...

Oh, and one Canada too!

Am I reading into this correctly that you are in for a pair of 12k watts God-Z IPALs?! If so, that would be awesome!

Does the bear poop in the woods? 🤪 Now I'm trying hard to resist the urge to get 4...... luckily the cost helps with that.

That’s going to be incredible! Stick with two GodZ IPALs for now so you can keep your powder dry for when the Hornzilla speakers come out!

Just a follow,

Today my new TV2112T got deliver and was 4 days ahead of schedule, since I was not suppose to receive it until the 23th:giggle::D

The delivery went very smoothly, they call me to see if I was home. And a truck got loaded and dispatch to my house right away and was there within 40 minutes, where the driver got it in my garage with the box in excellent condition not having any damage on it.

In the next few days, I will proceed to unpack it in my garage with the aid of a thick blanket. Since that box is too big to fit through the door inside the house.

It's in the theater now, thanks to the help of one of wife coworker that work with her been a very big man. Getting it from the garage to my room took less than 15 minutes, and went like a breeze and very smoothly.

How ever at that point, ran into a snag when trying to plug in my 90 degree angle XLR connector for facing the wrong way for the three pin. Not remembering how to change the angle on this multiple angle connector, I will order a normal 1 ft XLR cable and plug the strait end into the angle one outside of the sub using the KISS principle.

Nothing did prepare me to how big is a 21" woofer when seen in person, even having a couple 18" where my first impression pretty well go like this:eek::love:(y)

You can probably look it up on the internet using the brand of connector you are using. Should be pretty simple to do - I’ve done it to my connectors a few times.

Already did that, and could not find any instruction for that specific cable made by Pro LA Audio. However find a video for another brand, and was able to change the angle. But unable to screw back the main sleeve been very finicky as threads wise go that was taken out first on this video, having very little light and where a few flashlight don't help much;

Eventually I will get that sleeve back in place, with the help of someone else with more steady hands doing it while I hold a couple flashlight for him.

I had the same reaction in person when I first got my Tv2112m... I thought my FV15HP was big, I was wrong

Same here when going from the HSU Research VTF-3 MK3 12" to the TV2112M.
I keep it in the front corner of my living room and put a salt lamp and some other decoration type stuff on it and anyone that comes over hears the bass rumble and asks "where is that coming from?" I point to the sub and they all say they thought it was a giant end table.

Just a following to my last above, I did finalize a full calibration with my Audessey XT-32. With the goal of achieving a Trim result between -11.5 to -10dB, by doing multiple 3 points measurement. Where on my fourth try got a result of -10db, and did do a full 8 points ones. Knowing a calibrated sound can sound kind of Blah, I increase my trim value to -5dB to give it a little boost.

And after watching 'How to train your dragon', that is not the best movie to test a new sub. But since my wife bought it and never question me for any big Audio purchase, I decided that the choice of movie for this week should be her.

In the next few weeks, I will play with a variety of movies for some more tweaking. By decreasing my trim level to -7dB and increasing my gain level until slightly over my preference bass level, to give room to decrease or increase the bass amount on my trim level on the fly on my AVP to achieve the perfect amount of bass amount depending of the movie.

My first impression and conclusion, this TV2112 is here to stay.

Alright, I'm a bit late to this party, but it's a spectacular party, so I need to share.

Today's recommendation is Alien: Earth. It's running on FX/Hulu. I was waiting until a bolus of episodes were available before starting to watch. The 8th and final season episode airs this Tuesday.

I've watched the first 5 episodes, fully enthralled. I'm posting this here because this show works my dual TV21s at extremely high and impressive levels throughout. Deep bass, mid bass, loud bass, droning bass, big explosions, etc. Its entire audio design is spectacular. I have 4K UHD discs that can't touch the sound that this streaming show provides.

But beyond that, this is a TVMA show that I can scarcely believe made it into production and onto TV. It doesn't pull any punches. Gore, fully visualized violence, extreme parasitic/invasive body horror, tension, jump scares...it's got it all. It also has an extremely well written story and hosts an excellent cast. I can't tell who is better, Babou Ceesay (security officer Morrow) or Timothy Olyphant (Kirsh), not to mention Sydnee Chandler (Wendy) and Alex Lawther (Joe). The rest of the cast is also stellar. [I had early concerns that the whole "kids" angle was going to screw things up, but not so far]

The set design is fantastic and absolutely bonkers. Not only did they seemingly build what seems to be the entire interior of an incredibly detailed C-class deep space exploration vessel, recapturing much of the details of the original Alien, but they also built a trashed version. Where do they get the budget for this stuff??

This show is horrific. I'm a horror connoisseur so not much affects me anymore, but this show is actually disturbing.

My only complaint is the usual one - lack of dual/triple/quadruple containment of extremely dangerous biological specimens. It's the same old stupid sci-fi trope where one character makes a poor decision, or does something stupid, and the house of cards comes crashing down because there's only one layer of security (usually a thin layer of glass! WTF?!). At least in this show it's fun to watch.

Give it a try if you have access. I'm curious to see how it all turns out.

Hey Darth, Glad to hear you are loving the TV21. Is this sub in a different room from your FV18's or did you integrate it as a 3rd sub?
